Genius Afrika Logistics was founded in Dakar by Bassirou Gueye after twenty years in freight forwarding across France, the United Kingdom and Senegal. The aim is simple: give West African trade the service that shippers in Europe take for granted.
Why we exist
Freight into West Africa has a reputation: slow answers, charges that appear after arrival, files that change hands without anyone telling the client. We built the company to do the opposite.
Every file has one coordinator. Every quote separates freight, local charges, duties and delivery. Every agent who hands us a consignee gets updates in English and a proof of delivery the day the cargo arrives.
From our office in Dakar, between the port and the airport road, we serve Senegal and 14 other countries in West and Central Africa, for forwarders around the world and for the importers who buy from China, Turkey, Europe and the Gulf.
